Training Classes
Reiki Shizen offers Reiki training classes providing a rich and meaningful learning experience taught by an experienced state-certified Reiki Master Teacher.
Our curriculum is well-structured and offers a balance of instruction, meditations, attunements, hands-on practice, practical case examples, ample time for Q&A, and written materials to ensure higher levels of retention.
Our smaller class size allows for individualized attention, while the longer duration of class provides for student practice and proper integration of the teachings. Ongoing student support is offered through the Reiki Coaching and Reiki Circle programs.

Reiki Level 1
Discover the healing art of Reiki in this hands-on foundational course. Participants will learn about the history, lineage, and essential principles of Reiki, self-treatment techniques, and how to practice Reiki on family and friends. The course includes a student manual and workbook, step-by-step instruction, hands-on practice for effective integration, Level 1 attunements, and a certificate of completion. Students may register for Reiki Level 2 about one month after completing this course.
2-day class | $400
Reiki Level 1 Refresher
This 1-day Reiki 1 refresher course is designed for students who have already completed a Reiki 1 course from any training program and want to refresh their Reiki knowledge. The class includes a student manual and workbook, instruction on key components of Reiki 1, hands-on practice, Level 1 attunement, and a certificate of completion. Students can register for Reiki 2 about one month after finishing this course.

Reiki Level 2
After completing Reiki Level 1 at Reiki Shizen and allowing at least one month to pass, you are ready to expand your knowledge and take the next step in your Reiki journey. Reiki Level 2 explores the concepts of transcending time and space, examining Reiki in the past, present, and future. In this class, you will be introduced to sacred symbols and learn how to apply them in your Reiki practice. The course includes written materials, step-by-step instruction, hands-on practice for integration, Level 2 attunements, and a certificate of completion. Students can register for Reiki 3/Reiki Master course at least six months after finishing this course.

Reiki Level 3 Advanced Practitioner
During this comprehensive Reiki 3 Advanced Practitioner course, students will enrich their Reiki skills by learning the Master symbol and embodiment practices to deepen their connection to Reiki at a heightened level. The course introduces additional practices from diverse philosophies, expanding spiritual awareness and fostering a deeper connection to the multidimensional power of Reiki.
Student practitioners will deepen their understanding and Reiki skills, increasing their confidence and promoting personal growth as practitioners. They will also examine ethical considerations and boundaries, thoroughly investigate case studies, and acquire techniques for providing exceptional client care.
The course is divided into four parts: (1) attend two days of scheduled class instruction; (2) attend two 1:1 Reiki coaching sessions; and (3) complete six 1:1 Reiki sessions and attend six Reiki circles. The estimated time to complete this course is 3-6 months, leading to a Reiki 3 Advanced Practitioner certificate.

Reiki Level 3 / Reiki Master
During this comprehensive Reiki 3/Reiki Master combined course, students will enrich their Reiki skills by learning the Master symbol and embodiment practices to deepen their connection to Reiki at a heightened level. The course introduces additional practices from diverse philosophies, expanding spiritual awareness and fostering a deeper connection to the multidimensional power of Reiki.
Entering the Reiki Master level, student practitioners will further develop their understanding and practical application of Levels 1-3. This advanced stage supports personal growth and helps practitioners build confidence in their Reiki skills, regardless of whether they become teachers. The course includes instruction on performing attunements, a sacred ritual between a Reiki Master and a student. Student practitioners will also examine ethical considerations and boundaries, dive deep into case studies, and learn methods for providing exceptional client care.
The course is divided into four parts: (1) attend three days of scheduled class instruction; (2) co-facilitate three Reiki classes; (3) attend two 1:1 Reiki coaching sessions; and (4) complete additional fulfillment requirements. The estimated time to complete this combined course will be 6-12 months, leading to a Reiki 3 Practitioner and Reiki Master level certificate.

Reiki Coaching
Reiki coaching provides an opportunity to work one-on-one with an experienced Reiki Master Teacher to help you to achieve greater proficiency and confidence in your Reiki practice. This service provides personalized instruction and guidance to help you reach your Reiki learning goals in a safe and supportive environment.

A Reiki circle gathering is beneficial in numerous ways, providing a positive and nurturing environment where we can connect, learn, practice, and heal. Everyone is welcome to attend, including those new to Reiki.
Susan, a certified Reiki Master and meditation teacher, leads inclusive circles for all experience levels. Newcomers interested in Reiki will receive a brief overview of the format, enabling them to comfortably join both students and experienced practitioners. Reiki is a healing art that is accessible to everyone!
Past attendees include clients, students, and friends of Reiki Shizen and practitioners from the Reiki Training Program/Reiki Fellowship Circle.
